mysata.uz: SATA school website wired into the school system
mysata.uz is the new website of SATA school, launched in October 2026. It is not a stand-alone brochure site: an admission application left by a parent lands instantly in the management system the school works in.
The task
Everyday school life at SATA — grades, attendance, homework, timetables, payments and contracts — runs on the school management system built by UFLEX. Parents have the “My SATA” mobile app.
The school needed a website that tells parents about the school, its study tracks and the app, and collects admission applications. The key requirement: an application must not get stuck in a separate spreadsheet or chat — it has to appear right where the admissions team works.
What is on the site
- About — alongside general subjects: English and IELTS, SAT preparation, IT Lab and mental arithmetic.
- Study tracks — English and IELTS, SAT preparation, IT Lab and computer science, mental arithmetic, Science, mathematics, languages and literature, ART CLASS and technology. They are not made up: they are grouped from the subjects in the school timetable.
- Numbers — 370+ students, 40+ teachers, 30+ subjects, also taken from real data in the school’s system.
- For parents — what the “My SATA” app shows: attendance, grades, homework, timetable, payments, announcements, ranking, online contract signing and a chat with the school office. The site lists only features that actually work in the app.
- Admissions — the application form and next steps: apply, get a call, visit the school.
How an application works
- A parent leaves the child’s name and a phone number. Date of birth, grade (from pre-school to grade 11), parent’s name and a comment are optional. The phone number is validated in the Uzbek format.
- The application immediately lands in the Admissions section of the school’s management panel, with “Website” as the source.
- The director, the administrator and the admissions officer get a notification. Clicking it opens the Admissions page directly.
The form is protected from spam: at most 5 applications are accepted from one address within 10 minutes, an invisible trap field catches bots, and if the same application is sent twice, the duplicate is not recorded. An application for a second child from the same family is still accepted separately, so it is not lost.
Light and cheap to run: a static site
The site is built without frameworks — plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The whole page is about 68 KB, and fonts are served from the site itself. It adapts to phones, tablets and desktops.
The site has no database of its own: applications go straight to the school’s system. So the site is served by nginx, which uses only 3–4 MB of RAM — the cloud server costs are minimal.
Phone, address, social links and numbers live in a single settings file. An empty field does not show up on the site at all — no stray “—” and no blank space.
Old links still work
mysata.uz used to open the school management panel: contract links sent to parents and the TV screens in the school corridors worked through that address. The new site does not break them: any address that is not part of the site is automatically redirected to the management panel. Contract links and corridor TVs open just as before.
Panel security
Alongside the website, the management panel’s security was tightened. The director, administrator, accountant and admissions staff open the panel only through the SATA app installed on school computers, and the director approves every new computer. Even if one of these staff logins and passwords falls into the wrong hands, the panel cannot be opened from a computer that has not been approved.
System components
- Website — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, nginx
- Admission applications — the school management system’s server (Node.js, PostgreSQL)
- Notifications — in the management panel, to the staff responsible
- “My SATA” app — for parents and teachers
