Challenge
In the recyclables market — paper, metal, plastic — sellers and buyers have to find each other, check prices and arrange delivery separately, mostly over phone calls and messages. The Russian market needed a large trading platform that brings all of these steps into one place.
Solution
UFLEX built the EkoDrom platform. Recyclable paper, metal and plastic are bought and sold on it: both trade between companies (B2B) and trade between companies and private buyers (B2C) run entirely inside the platform.
Alongside trading, the platform runs a logistics service, so delivery from seller to buyer is arranged in the same place. The market analytics section shows the state of the market, and exchange prices are updated continuously, so both sellers and buyers decide based on the current price.
